The IMPROVISATION COURSE imparts tetailed insight into the art of improvisation as well as covering the basics of rhythm and is equally aimed at singers or instrumentalists. Futher to a theoretical and practical foundation, students receive essential information about soloing and rhythmic possibilities.

The course predominantly occupies the learner with the relationship between harmony (chords) and melody (scales), recognition of chord progressions as well as how to select the correct material to improvise with. At the same time, with the help of diverse exercises, students become familiar with a wealth of possibilities regarding the practical implementation of the learned theory, information about melodic and motivic development, rhythm, phrasing, articulation, dynamics, interaction, and much more...

Lesson hours: Wednesday between 18:30 and 20:00

Lesson units: 90 minutes per week

Lesson type: Group tuition

Requirements: None. This course is based upon the students' needs.

€ 220,00 per semester

€ 160,00 per semester (in combination with THEORY & EARTRINING COURSE)
