Erasmus+ Outgoing traineeship

Erasmus+ Traineeship for students and recent graduates

VMI students of all fields of study can apply for funding for a study-related (self-organised) internship abroad in Europe via Erasmus+ and receive a grant for it.

If a salary is received for the internship, this has no influence on the approval and amount of the grant.

Student internships (voluntary internships and compulsory internships) and graduate internships are funded, whereby in each case it should be a meaningful supplement to the studies.

Host organisations can be

  • Public or private companies, regardless of size, type of company or business sector

  • Research institutions, foundations

  • Non-profit organisations, associations

  • Higher education institutions with an Erasmus Charter

  • Any company, training and research institution or other organisation within the Erasmus+ programme countries may act as host institution, with the exception of institutions of the European Union and the like.
