Partner universities and cooperations
International networking with other universities and the mobility of students, faculty and staff are of great importance at the VMI-Vienna Music Institute. Intensive cooperation with selected partners enables our students to gain a wide range of international experience within the framework of funded exchange programs and cooperation projects. In addition, the networking of teachers and staff with colleagues from our partner universities as well as the active and regular exchange of lecturers plays an important role.
ICMP - Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (London/United Kingdom)
With around 1000 students, the ICMP Institute of Contemporary Music Performance is one of the largest and most renowned educational institutions for popular music in the UK. The institute's extensive curriculum offers specializations in performance, music production, and music management.
Berlin School of Popular Arts (Berlin/Germany)
The Berlin School of Popular Arts (formerly hdpk), a school of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, specializes in music production, music management, and media and audio design. In addition, the university offers a master's degree in media psychology and a separate course of study in popular music.
Fontys University - Rockacademie (Tilburg/Netherlands)
Fontys University - Rockacademie in Tilburg, the Netherlands, offers an extremely comprehensive range of studies in an excellently equipped and extensive university campus, with specializations in different study programs in the fields of modern pop music, performance and music production.
Conservatorio di Musica "Nino Rota" (Monopoli/Italien)
The Conservatorio di Musica "Nino Rota" in Monopoli is a music conservatory rich in tradition in the beautiful Italian region of Apulia. In addition to a comprehensive range of training in the classical music sector, the well-equipped conservatory also has an excellent jazz department within its university campus.

MTU Cork School of Music (Cork/Irland)
CIT Cork School of Music is the largest and oldest conservatoire in Ireland with over 400 full-time students. The state-of-the-art teaching building has 60 Steinway pianos, an electronic music studio, two music technology labs, a large recording studio and much more.

The Münster University of Music educates around 300 students from all over the world in various degree programmes, who are taught, guided and supported by around 150 teachers.
