ErasmusDays 2025 @ VMI – Irish-Bulgarian Intercultural Erasmus+ Get Together

Our Erasmus+ incoming students Florence and Anna from our partner university MTU Cork School of Music (Cork, Ireland), as well as our Erasmus+ trainee Rada from our partner school National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” (Sofia, Bulgaria), invite the VMI community to a culinary and intercultural exchange tomorrow in the VMI kitchen.

Rada will take you on a journey with the theme “From Banitsa to Odd Beats.”

Discover Bulgaria through rhythm, flavor, and imagery. You are invited to explore the country’s musical heritage, from traditional dances in uneven meters to their echoes in today’s jazz and pop. Enjoy homemade dishes and interactive flashcards with QR codes linking folk sounds to modern interpretations. A casual journey where music, taste, and conversation come together. Florence and Anna will bring a taste of Ireland, sharing Irish food and university vibes from Cork.
