Evelyn Fink-Mennel is an Austrian musician, ethnomusicologist, and music educator. She studied violin (instrumental and vocal pedagogy) as well as cultural management and later worked as a research associate and lecturer in the field of folk music research and ethnomusicology. She works at the intersection of folk music research, teaching, and music mediation and is based at the Stella Vorarlberg University of Music in Feldkirch. Her main focus is Alpine folk music, yodeling traditions, and intercultural music practices. She is also the artistic director of the Music Workshop at the world music festival “Glatt & Verkehrt.”
