About the HOUSE OF EUROPE Vienna 2026 intensive week:

The House of Europe Project connects students from six renowned European music universities. This year they will meet in Vienna for the intensive week to collaborate with musicians who, for various reasons, were forced to flee their home countries and have since found refuge in Austria. Together, they will create new songs and soundscapes shaped by personal stories of flight, lived experiences, dreams and hopes. These encounters lead to ideas - and ideas grow into songs that carry far more than a single voice could express. The result is an exciting program that reflects the diversity and impressive talent of all participants.

About the VMI NIGHT x HOUSE OF EUROPE Event:

We invite all VMI students, alumni as well as our House of Europe guests and participants to join a spectacular VMI NIGHT at Café Carina. The VMI House of Europe stage band, consisting of former House of Europe participants, has prepared amazing tunes to start the evening. After the concert, the stage will be open for all for an open jam session. Bring your instrument, your voice, or simply your curiosity, and become part of the music.
