WORKSHOP Vocal Improvisation with Liina Tralla

As part of the House of Europe International Songwriting Project, we are delighted to welcome Estonian musician and lecturer Liina Tralla. During the House of Europe Week, she will lead a special workshop dedicated to vocal improvisation.

Through a variety of engaging exercises and techniques, Liina Tralla will guide participants in finding their way into improvisation, developing and clearly communicating musical ideas, and listening and interacting effectively with other musicians. The workshop offers a supportive space for experimentation, creativity, and collaborative music-making.

No prior vocal experience is required just bring an open mind, curiosity, and a willingness to try something new.

About:

Liina Tralla is an Estonian vocalist and lecturer in voice and vocal technique at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy. With a background in music education, she specializes in vocal training, artistic expression, and working with singers in both individual and ensemble settings. Her work combines pedagogical expertise with a strong foundation in contemporary vocal practices.
